The final match of an invitational men’s open Futsal event took place in conjunction with a prize awarding ceremony at a sport ground in Madaya Township, Mandalay Region on 29 February.
In the final match, Zartimahn FC beat Autking Village FC 3-1 and was crowned the champion. Township Administrator U Aung Kyaw Naing, Head of the township police force Police Major Kyaw Moe and concerned officials presented champion trophy, cash awards, and individual prizes to winning teams and players.
The competition marking the 73rd anniversary of the Union Day was held from 12 to 29 February with 30 participating teams representing wards and villages in the township.—Soe Kyaw Thu Htwe (Madaya)
