A ceremony to provide fund of Emerald Green Project was held in conjunction with a knowledge sharing event about the dangers of COVID-19 at monastery in Taunglonenyo Village in Pyay Township, Bago Region yesterday.
At the event, an official from the township Department of Rural Development clarified the purpose of the project and shared knowledge about the dangers of COVID-19. Afterwards, an official from DRD handed over K 47.25 million to 215 members of village emerald green projects committee in Taunglonenyo Village.
With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans for emerald green project were dispensed to members of village emerald green project in Taunglonenyo Village in Pyay Township.—Nyein Thu, DRD
