Tauggyi, 21 November
A fresher welcome ceremony was held at the meeting Hall of University of computer studies in Taunggyi, Shan State (South) on 21 November.
First of all, Dr. Khin Sandar Aung, deputy rector of University of Computer Studies (Taunggyi) delivered an opening speech. Next, Dr. Nan Kaythi Hlaing delivered welcoming speech on behalf of teachers of University of Computer Studies in Taunggyi.
Afterwards, respective heads of the Department welcomed first year students and introduced academic knowledge for the specializations. Then, fresher and officials looked round Languages Lab၊ FCST Lab၊ Physics Lab and computer room in the University as campus tour.
The University of Computer Studies in Taunggyi was opened on November 21. So far, 70 percent of first year students who passed matriculation exam in 2022-2023 Academic years are studying first year course (first semester) in the University.—Aye Aye Soe(IPRD)
