THE graduation ceremony for the second edition of the 2025 Sum­mer Free Youth Basic Golf Training Programme, organized by Han Golf Masters Golf Academy, was held at 10 am on 9 May at the Han Golf Masters Golf Academy, at the junction of Okkalapa Road and Airport Road in Mayangon Township, Yangon.

 

During the ceremony, awards were presented to the winners of the Putting competition, and course completion certificates were handed out. U Chan Han, Chairman and Founder of Han Golf Masters Pte Ltd, delivered opening remarks.

 

In the boys’ under-13 category, first prize went to Bhone Myint Myat San, second to Khant Bhone Htel, third to Bhone Thit Kyaw, fourth to Okkar Min Myat and fifth to Kaung Pyae San. Prizes were also awarded in the over-13 and girls’ categories.

 

Special prizes were also presented to the winners who achieved a Hole-in-One on the most challenging hole, Hole 9. The recipients were Su Lei Yi Khaing, Thiri Thet Htar and Sithu Bhone Myat Aung.

 

The five-day summer training programme, held from 5 to 9 May, was offered free of charge as a charitable educational initiative.

 

The youth basic golf training was systematically taught by top coaches, including U Chan Han, U Ko Ko Lay, U Thiha Htay, U Sein Paing and U Aung Myo Hein, amid other trainers from the academy. — Myo Min Thura/KZL
