Four people from Chi Village, Sedoktaya Township in Magway Region were found to have been infected with coronavirus after being tested with rapid test kit, according to the Department of Public Health.
The virus positive patients—three men and one woman— recently visited Salin Township and will be treated at a public hospital. In addition, a contact tracing process for the covid-19 patients is being conducted by healthcare workers.
The number of confirmed virus case in Sedoktaya Township has risen to eight, with two discharging from hospital and six being treated at the hospital, said Dr Than Than Chit, an official from the DPH.
