THE Department of Fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation will sell freshwater fingerling species, which are currently popular with consumers, at affordable prices at 25 fishery camps in various regions and states across the country.

 

Starting in April, fish farmers will begin introduc­ing healthy, fast-growing fingerlings into their ponds. They will be able to purchase a variety of commer­cially valuable fish, including rohu, carp, barb, Catla, common carp, river catfish, silver pomfret, and more, at affordable prices from 25 fishery camps across various regions and states.

 

Interested buyers can contact the Yezin Fishery Camp in Nay Pyi Taw, the Hlawga Fishery Camp in Yangon, the Laydauntkan Fishery Camp in Yangon, the Bago Fishery Camp, the Thayetgon Fishery Camp in Mandalay, the Thaton Fishery Camp in Thaton, the Pathein Fishery Camp, and the Maubin Fishery Camp.
