Sub-committees for centenary celebrations of Myanmar film industry held their second coordination meeting at the Motion Picture Development Division of the Information and Public Relations Department in Yangon yesterday morning.
The sub-committee for screening historic Myanmar movies, chaired by Patron of Myanmar Motion Picture Organization U Hnin Moe, discussed nomination of academy award winning local films after 1952 as the Myanmar historic films, transforming famous historic films into digital versions and to be screened them on movie theatres, producing interviewing programmes with famous artistes in the film industry and broadcasting historic films, movie songs and film centenary programmes and chronicles of academic awards on MRTV.
Patron of MMPO U Kyi Soe Tun and sub-committee members of the exhibition organizing committee also held talks on preparations for display of machines and equipment along Myanmar film history, documentary photos, costumes, setting materials in film production, cartoon movies, short films, and photo and video booths for the artists and their fans.—Ohmar, Yi Yi
