Mongpan, August 24
A ceremony to provide 26 bags of fertilizers to farmers was held on the roadside of Mongpan-Kyaingtaung road in Sanpya village in Mongpan township, Shan state this morning with an opening speech by township administrator U Soe Htet.
U Kyaw Moe, head of the township agricultural department clarified the aim of the donation. Then, U Sai Naung, MP of Pyithu Hluttaw and officials handed over a bag of fertilizer each to 26 farmers. Then, agricultural staff demonstrated how to scatter fertilizers over the field and this was viewed by farmers.—Ko San ( Mong Pan)
