Farmers in Laymyathnar Township, Ayeyawady Region receive agricultural loans

Myanma Agricultural Development Bank (Laymyathnar Branch) disbursed a total of K 27.9 million of agricultural loans to 32 farmers in Wartawgwin village in Laymyathnar Township, Hinthada District, Ayeyawady Region.

The bank is disbursing monsoon agricultural loans to the farmers in accordance with the instructions guided by the Ministry of Health and Sports. The bank is dispensing monsoon agricultural loans at a rate of K 150,000 per acre of paddy field and K 100,000 per acre of other corps starting from 1 June.

The bank has disbursed a total of K 198.15 million of agricultural loans to a total of 184 farmers in 15 village-tracts for their 1321 acres of farmland. The bank will distribute agricultural loans to the remaining farmers during the set date, according to an official from the Township MADB.
