Kyauktada, 26 August
An essay, poem and painting contest to mark the International Day of Democracy which will fall on 15 September was held at a library of the Information and Public Relations Department in Kyauktada Township, Yangon this morning.
The event was jointly organized by the IPRD under the Ministry of Information and the township education office. A total of 16 students from middle and high schools in Kyauktada Township participated in the competition.
The prize winners will be awarded at a ceremony scheduled to be held in late September.—IPRD
