A ceremony to provide social pension to elderly people above 85 years old was held at the Dhamayones of ward-11 and ward-20 in Hlaingthayan Township, Yagon Region yesterday.
Officials from the township GAD handed over social pension to elderly citizens in the township for three months.
Senior citizens who are eligible for social pension in the township received K 30000 each for three months.
The region Hluttaw Representative U Myat Min Thu, an official and staff from the township GAD and departmental officials attended the event.—Maung Maung, IPRD
