The township Department of Social Welfare under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement and the Livelihoods and Food Security Fund jointly provided social pension to elderly people above 85 years old in Dagon Township, Yangon Region yesterday.
Officials from the township Department of Social Welfare and the Livelihoods and Food Security Fund disbursed K 6000 each to elderly people in the township amid the outbreak of COVID-19 on a door-to-door basis.—Zar Phyu Win, IPRD
