THE Department of Urban and Housing Development under the Ministry of Construction will issue residence permits for units of Thilawa affordable housings to those who have registered with the DUHD to purchase them.
The temporary residence permit will be issued starting from 20 March 2025 at the DUHD located at 228/234, Bogyoke Aung San Road, Botahtaung Township, Yangon Region.
The Construction, Housing and Infrastructure Development Bank (CHID) has been processing home loans for those housing units sold under the home loan development project on 28 January 2025. Those who have been allowed to purchase the units can seek temporary residence permits by providing a citizenship scrutiny card, household registration and authorization letter for those who cannot come themselves. — NN/KK
