DRD-sponsored sewing course opens in Indaw

A tailoring course was opened at the meeting room of the Department of Rural Development in Indaw Township, Sagaing Region.

At the ceremony, an official from the DRD gave a speech, urging the trainees to try their best in order to apply the subjects taught during the training course. The DRD would provide teaching aid materials to the trainees, he added. A total of 20 trainees are being given practical and theoretical training during the vocational training course.

The training course is organized with the aim of creating better job opportunities for rural women and increasing their income.—Myo Win Nyo (Kyunhla)
