A basic motorcycle repair course was opened at the meeting room of the Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation in Kangyidaung Township, Ayeyawady Region yesterday morning.
On the occasion, Township Administrator U Win Myint and Principal of the government technical school (Pathein) U Aye Min Tun delivered speeches. Next, an official from the Department of Rural Development explained the purpose of the course. According to him, the DRD conducted eight vocational training courses from 2014-2015 FY to 2018-2019 FY.
25 trainees throughout the township will be given practical and theoretical training course that runs from 6 to 24 May. The DRD opened the course with the aim of increasing the income of rural people and improving their socioeconomic status.—Nan Htike
