A medical team from the Department of Public Health gave an awareness talk at a basic education middle school in Kotkar Village, Kyaikmaraw Township in Mon State this morning.
Township Medical Superintendent Dr. Kyaw Win Zaw of the DPH under the Ministry of Health and Sports disseminated information about people-centered healthcare services and infectious diseases. A midwife also shared knowledge about HIV disease. They then performed free healthcare services such as medical check-ups to 70 local people.
The mobile healthcare team plans to make field trips to rural area twice a month to offer free healthcare services.
