Disbursement of agricultural loans to farmers in Gonnyinseik village in Thayatchaung Township, Dawei District, Taninthayi Region was conducted on August 9.
Those who paid back previous debt were disbursed monsoon agricultural loans at a rate of K 150,000 per acre of monsoon paddy. The bank dispensed agricultural loans to 114 farmers in the village.
The bank has earmarked to disburse monsoon agricultural loans to 34 villages where cultivate monsoon paddy. Of which, farmers in 26 villages have been disbursed agricultural loans. The bank is also arranging to distribute agricultural loans to farmers in remaining villages in the township, according to the bank manager.
