An event to provide cash and kind to flood victims was held at the town administrator’s office of the General Administration Department in Kaleinaung Town, Taninthayi Region yesterday morning.
A total of 426 residents from 99 households were affected by floods following incessant heavy rains swept through the area on 10 August. On the occasion, Town Administrator U Aung Naing presented Ks. 894,600 furnished by the Department of Disaster Management under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement to the flood victims.—IPRD
