Deputy Union ministers join mass walking in Nay Pyi Taw

In commemoration of International Olympic Day, which falls on 23 June, mass walk activities were held in Nay Pyi Taw on 22 June.

Altogether 2974 people including Deputy Minister for the Office of the Union Government U Tin Myint, Deputy Minister for Planning and Finance U Maung Muang Win, Deputy Minister for Information U Aung Hla Tun, member of Nay Pyi Taw Council U Tin Tun, Director-General U Myo Hlaing of Sports and Physical Education Department under Ministry of Health and Sports, Deputy Directors-General U Htun Myint Oo and U Kyaw San from Sports and Physical Education Department, officials from Sports and Physical Education Department, staff from all Ministries in Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory joined mass walking that started from Nay Pyi Taw Myoma Market to Jade Hall near Thabyegon Market.

Mass walking started at 5:30 am from Myoma Market along Pyinman-Taunggyo Road to Jade Hall near Thabyegon Market, the end point. Officials from Sports and Physical Education Department gave away purified water and bread to each participant.
