Hmawbi Township Department of Rural Development is implementing rural roads and bridges in Yoegyi village in Hmawbi Township, Yangon Region with the aim of delivering local products to markets with saving time and money. In the morning of 15 January, officials made a field trip to inspect the ground situation of construction sites.

They inspected the construction of rural road and slab culvert on the road. Then, they met with community leaders of the village and the responsible people from the construction company and urged them to meet the deadline.

The road measuring 1.456 furlong in length, 12 ft in width and nine inches in volume is being conducted with K 49.66 million of funds of regional government by tender winning company. The project was conducted starting from third week of June, 2024 and now it has been completed by 90 percent. Upon completion, it will bring socioeconomic development to the local people in the village.
