Construction of rural road in Kanbalu Township completed 55%

A rural road has been contructed in Natpay Village in Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Region since mid-June this year and now it has been completed 55 percent.

An earthern road measuring two miles in length, 12 ft. in width and two ft. and nine inches in thickness is being constructed by a tender winning company with Ks. 92.751 million allotted by regional government in 2022-2023 FY.

Officials from the District Department of Rural Development inspected the construction work of the road this morning and gave necessary instructions to the company.

Once completed, it will benefit over 700 acres of farmland of local people and helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner, according to an officials from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Aung Win Nyein(Kanbalu)
