A concrete paving work of road has been implemented in Letkhokone Village in Kungyangon Township of the Southern Yangon District, Yangon Region, and now, 20% of the projects have been completed, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.

During the inspection tour, officials from the Township DRD met with responsible persons and urged to meet the set standards.

The concrete road which is 565 ft. in length, 8 ft. in width and six inches in volume is being built with K 16.0 million including K 15.0 million of DRD’s funds for 2024-2025 fiscal year and K 1.5 million contributed by local people. Once completion, the road will bring benefit to local people every season.—Maung Khaing (DRD)
