Myingyan, May 8
In commemoration of World Red Cross Day which falls on 8th May, members of Myingyan Township Red Cross Branch collectively donated blood at the public hospital in the town of Myingyan in Mandalay region this morning.
A total of 26 members of the township Red Cross Branch participated in the blood donation. Besides, other members provided food, snacks and cold drink for people being placed under quarantine at Myingyan Degree College and No-3 Basic Education High School and performed music and dances.—Kyaw Swa (Myingyan)
