THE Ministry of Immigra­tion and Population held in-person interviews for 24 applicants seeking Per­manent Residency (PR) in Myanmar.

 

The interview and evaluation ceremony of the Central Committee on Implementation of Perma­nent Residence System was inaugurated on the morning of 24 June at the meeting hall of the Min­istry of Immigration and Population in Nay Pyi Taw.

 

The Central Commit­tee met the applicants who had already been verified, including one foreign ex­pert, one investor, 15 for­mer Myanmar citizens, and seven foreigners with blood relations to former citizens.

 

Following the comple­tion of these interview and evaluation processes, the findings will be submitted to higher authorities. After that, those who receive fi­nal approval will be issued residency certificates and cards, in accordance with the department’s standard procedures.
