Nyaungdon 3 June
A ceremony to provide cash aids to family members who faced riverbank erosion in Nyaungdon Township, Maubin District, Ayeyawady Region was held at Yankinsanyar (Anaukkyun) village this morning.
Due to the erosion of Panhlaing River on 2 June, three houses nearby the riverbank were removed to safety places. Therefore, MP Daw Ei Ei Pyone of Amyotha Hluttaw, MP U Kyaw San of No.2 Constituency of Regional Hluttaw, and officials from District Department of Disaster Management provided cash aids for house construction and foodstuff to 12 family members from three households.
