Boost production for present and future generations: A Triple Effort

Increasing production levels for the betterment of the nation’s economy requires a multifaceted approach encompassing three crucial aspects: domestic consumption sufficiency, expanding export volumes, and prioritizing import-substitute manufacturing. It is imperative to prioritize meeting the local demand for agricultural and livestock products to ensure the majority of the population’s needs are met. Products exceeding domestic consumption can be exported to foreign markets.

Myanmar, being a least-developed country, exhibits a significant disparity in Gross Domestic Product when compared to neighbouring countries with similar geographical and climatic conditions. So as to bridge this gap, all stakeholders and participants involved in elevating the nation’s GDP must strive diligently in their endeavours.

In the quest for increased productivity, it is essential to focus on industries that are based on the agricultural sector. A key factor in enhancing agriculture and livestock farming practices is the cooperative system. Therefore, forming cooperative societies for relevant sectors is crucial to foster a culture of collaboration whenever necessary.

Additionally, the government must ensure that farmers in the agriculture and livestock sectors reap the benefits they deserve. To achieve this, the agricultural, industrial, and service sectors must be implemented, as the agriculture sector serves as a pivotal force in all these measures to be able to modernize the country.

Significant emphasis should be placed on achieving target crop yields per acre and maximizing agricultural output. By reducing manufacturing costs, increasing crop yields, creating more job opportunities, ensuring local food sufficiency, and promoting export volumes, the state’s economy can experience substantial growth.

Producing an ample volume of goods domestically and implementing a systematic approach to exporting agricultural and livestock products will greatly benefit the state. Regions and states with high production capacity should prioritize the development of manufacturing sectors related to agriculture and livestock farming. This will not only result in increased incomes for both the state and private sector but also contribute to the overall prosperity of the national economy.

On the path to building the Union in unison and enhancing productivity, all citizens must exert their utmost efforts in introducing new products, increasing production volume in order to meet domestic demands and consumption, generating higher incomes not only for the government but for the private sector, and boosting export volumes. These endeavours are not only for the current welfare of the state and its people but also for the benefit of future generations.
