5 killed in train derailment in southeast Iran

TEHRAN, 26 Sept. 


At least five people were killed and scores were injured in the passenger train derailment in the southeast of Iran on Wednesday, state TV reported.


The incident took place near Zahedan city, the capital of Sistan and Baluchestan province bordering Pakistan.


In the incident, 92 other passengers were also injured, according to the report.


The train, with 250 passengers, was traveling from Zahedan to the Iranian capital Tehran.
