THE fourth-year BDS team won the University of Dental Medicine (Yangon) Rector’s Cup Men's Football Tournament after defeating the internship team 3-2 in the final at Thuwunna football training ground-I in Yangon yesterday.
Yangon Region Chief Minister U Aung Naing Thu, regional ministers, Rector Dr Kyaw Thiha, professors, department heads, teachers and staff attended the event. After the match, prizes were presented to outstanding players, the runners-up Internship team, and the champions. The tournament was held from 6 to 13 July with six teams participating. — Bala/ MKKS
