REINFORCING its commitment to employee well-being and an inclusive workplace culture, MPT successfully hosted its 3rd “TeamFit: Unite & Move” Futsal Tournament at the Futsal Court of the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF).

The tournament featured 7 men’s teams and four women’s teams representing MPT’s five main offices. Bringing together both men’s and women’s teams from across the organization, the tournament reflects MPT’s ongoing efforts to foster a healthier, more connected, and engaged workforce.

Mr Mikinori Naito, adviser to the MPTJO CEO, expressed that “At MPT, we believe our people are our greatest strength. Creating opportunities for employees to stay active, connect, and maintain a healthy work-life balance is an important part of our workplace culture. Following the successful completion of our 6th Yoga Activity in June, we are delighted to celebrate another milestone through our 3rd “TeamFit: Unite & Move” Futsal Tournament. Congratulations to the champion men’s and women’s teams for their outstanding teamwork, commitment, and sportsmanship. More importantly, this tournament has strengthened unity, encouraged healthy lifestyles, and created enjoyable experiences that inspire collaboration across our organization.”

Launched in 2024, “TeamFit: Unite & Move” is MPT’s employee wellness initiative designed to promote physical health, mental well-being, and stronger teamwork through activities such as Yoga, Zumba, and Futsal. The programme has become an important platform for encouraging employee engagement while supporting a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

Recognizing that engaged and healthy employees play a vital role in delivering an excellent customer experience, MPT remains committed to expanding its employee wellness initiatives through regular monthly activities that promote both personal well-being and organizational excellence. — MT/ZN
