2581 students aged five and above received COVID-19 vaccine in Paikyone sub-Township

As of July 4, a total of 2581 students aged five and above have been vaccinated against COVID-19 at the designated vaccination sites in Paikyone Sub-Township in Kayin State.

 

Under the leadership of the Township Administrator U Kyaw Kyaw Lwin, healthcare workers from Rural Health Department and volunteers gave the vaccine to the students on a door to door basis in Basic Education Schools in the sub-Township.

 

Medical workers continue to give the vaccine to the remaining people in the sub-Township. The healthcare workers and volunteers monitored the body temperatures and blood pressures of the student before giving the vaccine and watched them for 30 minutes after receiving the vaccine.—Naw Khu (IPRD)
