2022 World Cup Qualifiers: Myanmar beat Tajikistan 4-3

THE Myanmar men’s national football team beat the Tajikistan men’s  team  by  4-3  in  a  crucial  Group F match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers yesterday at the Mandalar Thiri Stadium in Mandalay.


Led by head coach Antonio Hey, Myanmar lined up with key players:  goalkeeper  Kyaw  Zin  Htet, Nyein Chan, Captain Zaw Min Tun, David Htan, Yan Naing Oo, Kyaw Zin Lwin, Hlaing Bo Bo, Myo Ko Tun, Suan Lam Mang, Maung Maung Lwin, and Aung Thu.


Myanmar   scored   their   opening  goal  at  ten  minutes.  The  goal  was  scored  by  Suan  Lam  Mang,  and  helped  boost  the team’s confidence.


Tajikistan’s   Dzhalilov   scored  the  equalizer  for  his  team at 35 minutes.


The second goal for Myan-mar  was  scored  by  Suan  Lam  Mang at 41 minutes.


Myanmar led the first half by 2-1.


In  the  second  half,  Myanmar remained strong with long ball passing and one-touch play.The third goal for team Myanmar was scored by star forward Aung  Thu  at  48  minutes.The  goal forced Tajikistan to launch an  attack,  and  the  team  kept  Myanmar defenders busy. Tajikistan  landed  their  second  goal  at 55 minutes. It was scored by Vasiev Farkhood. By relying on one-touch  play,  Maung  Maung  Lwin netted the fourth goal for Myanmar at 63 minutes, and the result changed to 4-2.At 75 minutes, Tajikistan’s Dzhalilov once again  landed  a  goal,  changing  the score to 4-3. Team Myanmar switched into defense mode and managed to maintain the score till the final whistle to get their first win in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Group F qualifiers.
