Two people were killed and several others injured in a multiple-vehicle crash on Wednesday in Semarang in Indonesia's Central Java province.
A truck carrying soil was traveling from the south side when it swerved and collided with multiple vehicles. The impact caused the truck to overturn and drag several meters, Yunaldi, head of Semarang police traffic unit, said.
"Those who killed were a minibus driver and a passenger sitting in the front seat," he said.
It took four hours for an excavator to remove the mangled truck, causing a long traffic jam.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
