A ceremony to open a 16-Bedded Traditional Medicine Hospital in Kantbalu was held at the hospital this morning.
The hospital was formally opened by Regional Minister for Social Affairs Dr. Zaw Win, MP U Win Aung of Amyotha Hluttaw, MP Daw Khin Myo Chit of Regional Hluttaw, responsible person from Department of Traditional Medicine and District Administrator. Next, the officials sprinkled the scented water on the stone inscription and they also looked around the hospital.
At the ceremony, the Regional Minister for Social Affairs said that a total of eight traditional medicine hospital, five traditional medicine centers in district level, 19 traditional medicine clinics in township level and eight traditional medicine centers in sub-township level have been opened and a total of 1725 inpatients and 147630 outpatients have been given health care treatment. Now, the 16-Bedded Traditional Medicine Hospital was opened in Kantbalu Township. Therefore, people who reside in the township can receive health care services in time.
