16-bedded station hospital put into service in Tarpun

An inauguration event of a 16-bedded station hospital was held in Tarpun Town, Bago Region on 11 January.

On the occasion, Amyotha Hluttaw Representative U Aung Thein, Regional Minister for Municipality and Social Affair Daw Nyunt Nyunt Htay, an official from the Department of Livestock Breeding and Veterinary, Acting Town Administrator U Than Tun and an official from the Department of Health unveiled the hospital by cutting a ceremonial ribbon.

The regional minister then gave a speech and the official from the Department of Livestock Breeding and Veterinary detailed matters relating to construction of the hospital, medical equipment and staff affairs. Next, the NLD’s information committee secretary U Aung Shin (Monywa) expressed words of gratitude and the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Khin Aye and the Upper House MP delivered addresses.

The medical facility plus a staff housing were built by Construction Group-3 under the Ministry of Construction.—Tin Myint (Nattalin)
