Yangon, June 11
The first day of emergency session (1/2019) of the 2nd Yangon Region Hluttaw was held at the meeting room of the Regional Hluttaww on Pyi road in Dagon Township, Yangon this morning.
At the event, Col. Thu Aung Zaw, new Tatmadaw representative of the regional Hluttaw took the oath of loyalty to the Hluttaw. Then, Yangon region planning and finance minister U Myint Thaung on behalf of Yangon Region Goverment put forward Yangon region’s estimated budget for 2019-2020 fiscal years to the Hluttaw. Members of the regional Hulttaw will discuss over the budget proposal on the second day of emergency session to be held on June 12.—Zaw Gyi
