Myinmu 19 March
A ceremony to mark “World Tuberculosis Day” which falls on 24 March will be held in Myinmu, Sagaing Region on 24 March.
A mobile TB treatment team led by director from the Health Department Dr. Myat Kyaw Thu will conduct a TB by X-ray test and free treatment in Nyaungbinkan village on 27 March, Sapalkan and Kalapyan villages on 28 March and it continues until 31 March nearby the villages.
The mobile team will conduct public awareness on TB and disseminate pamphlets about TB in the villages. In addition, arrangements have been made to distribute medicine for TB patients through cooperation anti tuberculosis department in the Myinmu People’s Hospital.
