Kawtmhu, 22 February
A woman was arrested for illegal gambling in the town of Kawtmhu, Yangon Region yesterday, according to the Myoma Police station.
Upon information received, police led by Police Sub-Inspector Aung Soe Thu together with witnesses searched the house of Daw San, 52, in Myoma ward and seized documents, a hand phone and ball pens used in the gambling and K 42,800 in her possession.
Daw San, who got involved in the illegal business, was arrested by Kawtmhu Moyma Police station.— Kawtmhu Tha-Lay
