WITH the supervision of the Department of Information and Public Relations, an award-giving ceremony for the contest to commemorate the 74th Independence Day, which will be convened on 4 January 2022, was held at the Basic Education High School in Mongreh, yesterday morning.
The Independence Day contest was held on 22 December at the Public Library of the Information and Public Relations Department. Twenty students from basic education middle school participated in the competition.
The winners of the pre-Independence Day quiz contest were announced by the Township Information and Public Relations Department. Township IPRD staff officer Daw Khin Mar Lar and headmistress Daw Aye Aye Myint of Mongreh Basic Education High School presented the awards respectively. — Mongreh IPRD/GNLM
