A machine well is being dug in Ywatha-Aye village in Nyaung-U Township, Mandalay Region by MiMipon Philanthropic Organization from Dawbon Township, Yangon Region starting from 31 January.
With the aim of ensuring the access of drinking water at all seasons, the organization donated the cost of the digging well.
The land area for digging well was donated by well-wisher U Than Win Soe and family who reside in the village. The cost of the digging well with 700 ft in depth and water plant construction will be funded by the organization. Upon completion, about 1000 local people from 150 households will access enough drinking water at all seasons, said U Maung Myint, head of the organization.
