Water supply projects in Loilem Township being undertaken

Water supply projects in Paunglai village, Loilem Township, Shan State (South) are being undertaken with funds of Union and funds of Shan State Government during 2022-2023 FY, according to the Township Department of Rural Development. 

 

With the aim of distributing enough drinking water in the village, the tender winning company conducted the installation of water pipeline and construction of a water tank capable of storing 5000 gallons of water with K 26.07 million allocated by funds of Union. Likewise, engineers from the Township DRD conducted digging a 300 ft deep tube well with K 4.5 million allocated by funds of Shan State Government starting from June. Now, all have been completed by 85 percent of the project, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.
