Vietnam's confirmed COVID-19 cases increase to 312

Vietnam's Ministry of Health on Friday morning confirmed 24 new cases of COVID-19 infection, bringing the total in the country to 312, with no deaths reported.

 

The 24 new patients, aging from 24 to 48, were on a same flight from Russia to Vietnam on Wednesday, said the ministry, noting that they are now treated in the northern provinces of Thai Binh and Quang Ninh.

 

Vietnam has 131 suspected cases with over 12,000 being monitored and quarantined, while 260 had totally recovered from the COVID-19 as of Friday morning, according to the Ministry of Health.
