With the aim of narrowing the gap of rural and urban areas and upgrading infrastructure in Rural Areas, a wooden bridge is being upgraded to a reinforced concrete bridge by Department of Rural Development in Gwaygon Village in Wuntho Township, Sagaing Region.
The wooden bridge measuring 20 ft. in length, 16 ft. in Width and 10 ft. in height is being upgraded to a concrete bridge with Ks 10 million allotted by regional government.
Once completed, it will benefit 209 local people from 42 families in the village in the Township, according to U Myo Tun.—Township IPRD
