Union Minister for Planning, Finance and Industry U Soe Win received Mr Paul Scully MP, the British Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Myanmar, Thailand and Brunei, at his ministry in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the meeting, they discussed matters related to bilateral economic cooperation, assistances from Department for International Development (DFID), Myanmar’s banking and financial sectors, development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and cooperation on trade and investment sectors.
Deputy Ministers for Planning, Finance and Industry U Set Aung and Dr Min Ye Paing Hein, British Ambassador Mr Daniel Chugg, Head of DFID Mr Rurik Marsden and officials were also present at the meeting. — MNA
