Union Minister for Information Dr Pe Myint and the delegation members concluded a five-day visit to Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in south-west of People’s Republic of China for a media tour and arrived back in Yangon yesterday afternoon.
On 23 November, the Union Minister and party visited Guilin City, and took a cruise ship along Li Jiang river with tourist attractions to Yangshuo town where they looked around the displays of rural cultures by cars.
On yesterday morning, they got a high-speed bullet train from Guilin to Guangzhou from which they flew back to Yangon.
At the Yangon International Airport, they were welcomed back by officials from the Ministry of Information and the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar. The delegation members of Director-General U Ye Naing from the Information and Public Relations Department, Chief Editor U Aung Naing Oo from the Myanma Alin Newspaper, Assistant Director U Aung Win from the Myanmar Radio and Television, Senior Researcher U Aye Maung Kyaw from Myanmar Studies Group and Research Assistant U Saw Pyae Hmu from the Myanmar Motion Picture Promotion Division also took the same flight in coming back home. —MNA
