Union Election Commission held a press conference on election-related matters in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon. The conference was held in accordance with the COVID-19 control and prevention guidelines. Members of press release team U Myint Naing, U Than Htay, U Swe Tint Lwin and officials from the UEC office answered the questions of 34 foreign and local media organizations.
They detailed about the preparation for the 2020 General Election, measures to enable all eligible voters to cast their ballots, matters relating to advance voting and declaration of non-electoral areas and preparation for the voting process in accordance with the COVID-19 control and prevention guidelines.
