The delegation of the Union Election Commission led by its Chairman U Hla Thein left for the Republic of India yesterday as study tour till 12 February on observing Delhi Legislative Assembly elections to be held on 8 February.
The UEC delegation was seen off at Yangon International Airport by officials from Indian Embassy in Yangon, UEC Office and Yangon Region Sub-Election Commission. UEC Chairman is accompanied by officials from the commission. —MNA (Translated by TTN)
