Two men arrested for carrying heroin in Kaha Tsp

Two men were arrested for carrying heroin worth k 6 million near the crossing in Pinmalut village in Katha Township, Sagaing region at 12 noon on 9 April.

Acting on information, policemen from Anti-Drug Squad led by Police Inspector Kyaw Min Tun together with witnesses stopped two suspected men who were riding a motorcycle and searched them. The search led to the discovery of six packets of heroin weighing 60 grams, worth K 6 million, hidden in the motorcycle. The two drug pushers were identified as Kyaw Zin Oo, 29, of Waegyi village, Htigyaint Township and Kaung set Paing 28, the same village.
