Two people injured in a traffic accident in which a car rammed into a creek and overturned under “Kokko” Creek Bridge on Meiktila-Kyaukpadaung road near Ledaw village in Mondaing village-tract, Meiktila Township, Mandalay Region this morning.
The car leaving Pakokku was driven by U Myo Lwin, 50 and his wife named Daw Mon Mon Naing on board. The couple sustained slight injuries in the incident, said U Nay Oo, head of Meiktila District Red Cross Society. The car was packed with soft drinks and commodities. Action is being taken against those got involved in the accident by Aleywa police outpost, it is learnt.—Chan Tha
