Taungdwingyi 23 February
A fire broke out in a house at Taungbyin-2 Ward in Taungdwingyi, Magway at 6:37 am today.
The fire started from a lit candle at the altar of the house of U Tin Tun Maung and spread to other house owned by Daw Pyone. The fire burned down two houses.
Township officials, firemen and local people rushed to the scene and put out the fire with three fire engines and four water tankers. The blaze was extinguished at 6:45 and no casualties were reported in the incident.
