Two children from Tual Zeh Village in Falam Township drowned while they were swimming in the Manipur River in Falam Township, Chin State yesterday.
Three children led by U Rung Pian from Tual Zeh Village went to the Manipur River for fishing on 21 May and three children drowned while they were swimming in the river. U Rung Pian attempted to save all children but managed to rescue only his child and the two children went missing. Local authorities and residents conducted a search operation for the missing children.
The two missing children were found dead by the villagers on 22 May.--Jonh
